@indigo I think 15,000-30,000 years of shared history help, but when you consider how often we misunderstand other humans it's not surprising we have the odd 'huh?!' moment! :-D

@hazardwarning That was partly me before the Pencil - it's a quantum leap forward from other capacitive styli, to the point where it does engage that mnemonic element for me now. I do still write properly, but that's just throw away scribbles / phone notes at the moment..

@streakmachine Yep, I enjoyed it too. Only 3 real problems for me (4 if you include casting Matt Damon - too soon after Interstellar!), but none are show stoppers. They cut too much of his humour and too much self-reliance/science ninja stuff, and added a weird final scene that was hugely anti-climactic..
@hazardwarning I can definitely recommend an Apple Pencil and compatible iPad - find it very useful for diagramming at work, and lighter than lugging around notebooks. I am however going to have to start writing letters and similar to make use of my pens though!

@larand Great news Larry.. I'd imagine you might need to see the cardiologist too, after the shock of that?! hug
@hazardwarning Ooof! I'd say it's probably easier to say no to work than 'not-work' too!
