@matigo Those aren’t mutually exclusive - I suspect many Youtubers aren’t wedded to the Apple ecosystem. If you need the multi-core performance for software running on macOS the time savings (and reduced frustration!) might be worth the extra cost..?
@paulgit That’s a pretty crazy way of doing things to my mind. It’s not like people generally want to travel on business, so you don’t need to use the expenses system to disincentivise it.. Can you make the the company split the payment into 4 weeks and 2 weeks at least?
I can see the per diem having to be recorded as a Benefit in Kind, as the company can’t prove it was all work based expense though - which is why reimbursement of actual accrued costs, subject to (usually challenging) company policy is probably the least bad option for the traveller..?

@matigo I think in terms of return on investment, I think working on what 10C is and how you communicate and market it is probably the first target.
I don’t know what your API / service documentation is like, but sprucing up that might be step two..?

@matigo You should be on expenses..? Don’t go crazy, but you’re putting yourself out to travel so you shouldn’t worry about using the expenses provided..
